Description:
Essential Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
- Coding and Troubleshooting unit / integration or behavior test cases.
- Create and/or maintain test infrastructures that support test inventories.
- Design test cases and target to automate most of the test cases.
- Execute test cases and report defects for non-conformance.
- Participate in technical design discussions, and contribute to the design.
- Authorized to make a decision to pass/fail the test case based on observed results.
- Complying with QMS work instructions to document test case results in the DHF.
- Analyze requirements, escalate non-testable requirements. Work with Sr. Software Engineers to develop good testable design.
Quality Specific Goals:
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
