Applications are invited for 4 positions of Sr. Research Assistant and 2 positions of Jr. Research Assistant to work on the following DIT Project for Marathi Language at TIFR, Mumbai. The selected candidates may have to work either at TIFR Mumbai or at Mumbai university Campus at Kalina.

Senior Research Assistant - 03
Education and Qualification:
M.A. (Linguistics) with minimum 60% marks.Fluency in Marathi, good grounding in Marathi grammar, training in acoustic phonetics. Training in data elicitation and practical field work. Work experience in the field of language and technology/ computational linguistics/Language documentation.
Pay: 13,000 + 30% HRA.
Senior Research Assistant - 01
Education and Qualification:
B.E/B Tech (Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunications/Comp Science) with min 60% marks. Desirable : Experience in programming using C/C++/ Java for developing user interfaces, fluency in Marathi.
Pay: Rs.13000 + 30% HRA.
Junior Research Assistant - 02
Education and Qualification:
B.A./B.Sc with min 60% marks. Exposure to Linguistics, Knowledge of DTP, fluency in Marathi, good grounding in Marathi grammar
Pay: 6,000/- + 30% HRA.
