Description:

Dell Sonic Wall Hiring Freshers as Test Associate Engineer @ Bangalore
 
Responsibilities:

- Develop test plans and test cases based on the marketing and design requirements for new features or update existing features as appropriate (for Email Security products).

- Validate the design and test new features, functionalities thoroughly providing thorough coverage to features testing.

- Do regression, performance and stability testing.

- Discover the bugs, file them using bug tracking tool, verify bugs after the fix and track the bug status.

- Analyze the issues discovered, narrow down the causes, provide the required information to developers, troubleshoot the setup and environmental issues.

- Create and maintain test beds.

- Reproduce the customer reported bugs, verify the fix and convert it to test case.

- Participate in Test Automation framework design.

- Automate test cases using PERL or any other tool selected.

Requirements:

- Experience in testing Email Security or Network Security or similar products.

- Experience in designing the test cases based on requirement/functional specifications.

- Experience in maintaining test beds and troubleshooting the setup/environmental issues.

- Experience in analyzing the issues discovered and narrowing down the causes

- Experience in test automation using PERL or similar.

- Working knowledge of SMTP, LDAP Schema, Email Exchange Server and Hosted Solutions (desired).

- Working knowledge of Windows Server, MySQL Database  and Linux or similar.

- Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS and/or similar networking protocols and concepts.
