Application are invited for the Posts of Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow in Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).

Research Associate -  01

Education and Qualification:

M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences specialization in Extension, M.A. Mass Communication/Journalism/Economics/ English/MSW+2 yrs Research /Development/ and/ or relevant Work Exp in relevant field.

Experience:

Conceptualize, write, and review compelling documents, past performance documentation, capabilities descriptions and project plans Conceptualize at a high level; review and integrate visually appealing, informative technical graphics and illustrations and relevant published documents.
Interact with/ Interview subject-matter experts to understand the processes, technologies, business process needs, and other contextual details of a subject-matter domain and to elicit the appropriate technical information on climate change adaptation in agriculture & livelihood etc. to compose high-quality technical writeups.
Analyze the technical requirements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other stakeholders’solicitations.
Good oral and written communication & Documentation skills

Pay: 23,000/- +HRA

Age: 35 Yrs

Senior Research Fellow  -  01

Education and Qualification:

M.Sc. (Agricultural Physics/Environmental Sciences /Agrometeorology), M.A./M.Sc. (Geography), M.Sc. (Geology/Physics), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Remote Sensing /Geoinformatics)/Civil Engineering with working experience on remote sensing.

Experience:

Experience in processing satellite remote sensing data and handing spatial data in GIS and programming

Pay: 16,000/- +HRA

How To Apply:

The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the room of Principal Investigator CESCRA, NRL Building IARI, Pusa, and New Delhi on 18th December 2012, at 10.00 am only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview. Application with detailed bio-data with one colour passport size photograph pasted on it, attested copy of certificates of age and qualifications, reprints and publications, if any, and no objection certificate from present employer may be submitted to the Head, CESCRA 9.30 am at the time of interview. The candidates should also have the original grade card/ mark sheet of the essential qualification at the time of the interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
